Punekar News Announces ‘Pune: Legacy Archives’ – A Docu-Series on Heritage Homes

Pune, 11th March 2025: Pune’s heritage homes hold countless stories within their walls, and Punekar News is set to bring these narratives to life with its latest docu-series, Pune: Legacy Archives (Season 1).

Conceptualized by Punekar News and senior journalist Ketaki Latkar, the series will offer an exclusive look into the city’s timeless residences, blending architectural elegance with personal family histories.

The first season, titled “Timeless Abodes”, will consist of 12 episodes, each with a runtime of 15-20 minutes. It will explore heritage homes across Pune that have stood the test of time, continuing to shelter the third or fourth generations of the same family. These houses are not just architectural landmarks but also living repositories of history, having witnessed decades of change, celebrations, and personal journeys.

Celebrating Pune’s Heritage, One Home at a Time

Through engaging storytelling, the series will highlight the unique blend of culture, family traditions, and personal anecdotes tied to these homes. It will feature:

  • Conversations with the homeowners spanning multiple generations.
  • Archival photographs and footage showcasing the evolution of these properties.
  • A guided walkthrough of hidden corners, vintage interiors, and irreplaceable heirlooms.
  • Discussions on preservation, restoration, and the emotional connect families have with their ancestral homes.

“This series is not just about structures; it’s about the emotions and memories they hold.
